Join CILNWF at the Fred Levin Way Fest that will honor late attorney’s legacy of giving with family festival

The Levin Papantonio Rafferty law firm and the Levin family are hosting “Fred Levin Way Fest: A Celebration of Giving” in honor of the late Fred Levin.

The free family festival will take place 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 24 in downtown Pensacola.

The event will begin with a brief dedication ceremony, where the city of Pensacola will rename a one-block stretch of Zarragossa Street in downtown Pensacola as “Fred Levin Way.” Afterward, festivities for the whole family will begin.

“Fred Levin was renowned throughout the city, state, country and globe for his reputation as a legendary trial attorney and tireless philanthropist,” said Fred’s son and Levin Papantonio Rafferty attorney Martin Levin. “It seemed only fitting that we celebrate the dedication of Fred Levin Way with a festival that encourages and facilitates helping people in need.”

Levin became one of the nation’s best-known trial attorneys through a $13 billion settlement against the tobacco industry in Florida, and he donated more than $35 million to universities, nonprofit organizations and hospitals in his philanthropic work. He died from COVID-19 in January.
